Quilts from the Heart is the Guild's philanthropic project.  It benefits the Crisis Center (safe haven) for women and children who are victims of domestic abuse within a five county region.  One hundred fifty quilts are made and then presented to the Center to comfort children who are guests at the shelter.  The children range in age from infant to teenager, and the quilts are baby quilt or throw size.  Fabric and batting are available monthly at the meetings to make these quilts or by contacting Vickie Greenwood.
